The shenanigans continue to this day...with Walmart and Costco I'm always in and out. With Target I've gotten detention every time.
The last time at Target I was able to take a full 10 hour break so it worked out...at least they warned me ahead of time.
Target Distribution Centers, live unloads, what is their major malfunction?!?!?

Good luck at their Waterloo and Denton warehouses. Last time I delivered at the Waterloo location they moved my delivery appointment a day later without telling the company I was with at the time. Then when I did get unloaded they took well over 6-7 hours.
Here at the Denton warehouse it’s already well past the appointment time and now looking at losing a good long weekend run thanks to target. Basically it’s one big reason I don’t go to their stores. Even Walmart is better to deal with than these clowns.‘Olhand Thanks this. -
When I book a Target load (I actually really like Target loads) I plan on just dropping my trailer and leaving to get my 10 at a TS . Once they call I document it and put in for detention accordingly. Always gives me a warm fuzzy feeling when they max out the detention at 5 hours giving me an extra $200 while I sleep.
Sometimes like one in OR if it’s an early morning Sunday appointment I just hang out because they’re usually pretty quick.
Late afternoon deliveries, I’m gone. -
Only time Ive ever been to a Target DC was to pick up a trailer that a guy dropped when he said "screw (not the actual word) this, I quit".
Dont know how long the trailer was there, but it was empty when I got it, so they seem fine to me -
New target DC in Windsor locks CT, been there 3 times, including the very first load in, yet to be there over 90 minutes

I haven't done a Target DC live unload in about two-years, but the one in Midway, GA took over eight hours. They let you bobtail out to truck stops and come back, though..
They don't fight a detention payout either..
