What size tarps do you guys carry? I wasn't thinking and called tri-city tarps (Granite City, Ill) and asked what the cost would be for a 30ft long 12ft drop with a flap. He said $750 with the discount. Ive yet to order it.... but, as I was sitting here thinking, thats gonna be one heavy tarp. So I need to break it up some. I talked to a guy a few weeks ago who said he had 4 tarps but couldn't tell me the sizes.

I need just enough to cover something in the well 29-32 ft.... Should I break that up into 2-3 different tarps?

I would do two tarps myself, say, 16/7 feet long, gives you a bit of overlap, and three flaps on each, so you always get one flap each for front and back.

Two sides and one for the front it back depending on orientation. As opposed to only the sides or also the front and back.

A couple of 16x32s and a 20x20 for an end cap can cover quite a lot. Maybe sub one 16x32 out for a 20x40 if you hate your back.

Or you can save your back and go with a 40x60. That’s what this tarp is. It’s easier on your back because it’s heavy enough you have to use a fork lift.

Remember the only thing harder to work with then a big tarp is a bunch of little tarps when you really needed a big one.

Take your pick. One huge tarp or one very large tarp and two lumber tarps. 140AAEFD-6A25-45E7-AD8E-E150568F17EC.jpeg 27607849-DE92-47C1-9846-0BA83AD2EE12.jpeg F4061A8A-5F56-40E5-814A-4F4ED501650B.jpeg

I still carry a 30 x 30 and 20 x 20 plus a 10 x 30 i use as a skirt. Mostly you will never be lifting the tarp onto the load, have the loader use their crane or 2 forklifts to drape it over the load and work from the ground

I ended up breaking it up into 2 tarps..... and I did get it from tri city. Since I don’t run that area where tri city is located I had to have em ship it....
