My first truck had 70k miles (low for a truck). I doubt that’s the norm, but it obviously happens.

Normally they don't give new guys the fanciest and newest stuff in the fleet but nowadays who knows. As long as it's relatively reliable and goes down the road who cares. It isn't yours anyway.

Expect to get a ragged out pos and you may get lucky and be handed something nice, if you can call the average fleet spec truck nice.
