Yeah thats what I used when I drove an 09 volvo. Easy to install, four screws you take out to pull the radio out. The newer ones may have an aux plug built in.

If you had an auxiliary port, you would be fine. Or picking up the FM Direct.

All you need is a aux cable from a standalone unit to aux port on dash to left of radio no converter needed

You'll have to look but I'd say if you don't have a factory satellite unit, you probably won't have a satellite antenna as well.

On the volvos there is a usb/aux jack port just to the right of the steering column. You can use any mp3 player or satellite radio with it and never have to change the channel on the radio.

This honestly looks like an older radio. And although you probably already figured this out, it isn't SIRIUSXM ready. You will need the separate radio. However, you have no place to run an audio cable or a cassette player so the cassette adapter is out the window. You could get a fm transmitter. But you will probably be better off buying an aftermarket radio, and if you don't want the extra unit you could get one that is SIRIUSXM ready while you are shopping for a new radio, well, if you do go shopping for one anyways.

    EDIT

I just saw that you do indeed have an aux port so Nevermind my reply lol.

It is probably Sirius capable but not Sirius ready, huge difference. Capable means there are plugs on the back of the radio that will allow you to hook up "hidden" receivers and all that radio will do is display the Sirius channel on the existing screen. I noticed it also says "MP3" if you hook your separate Sirius radio up thru the 3mm jacks(the above mentioned "aux" port) on both then you will never have to hunt for a "empty" station again. Also(added bonus) using the 3mm "MP3" ports will give you true digital sound quality, when you run it thru "empty" fm channels you are still getting fm quality sound.

    That's OK.
But if you're in LA or some of the other big cities..

I used to just turn off my XM there.
Because so many strong stations there they simply overpower the FM Transmitter.
