Temporarily NO HOS

Turn on a television. Was all over the news for two days. Part of the Trump initiative of cutting regulations across the board. This goes for transportation industry.

 

C.S.A, D.O.T and all the regulations within the industry today. May as well have a Safety Director, or D.O.T Officer in the jump seat. Ridiculous how the industry has changed so drastically, and the technology that is being put into the trucks. Autonomous trucks, rear/forward facing cameras, side collision cameras, ELD, and so on. Next step is remotely controlled trucks, like the Drones in the Military. No more drivers.

 

Goes to show just how oblivious the country has become, and how they have become so wrapped up in their own lives. They cannot see the whole picture, relying on what social media (joke) and inappropriate, unprofessional news reporting has done to society. Believing gossip from social media, or not being engaged in the world around them.
