Was that the guy that didn't even have a permit to be there? Or am I mixing up incidents?

While it is a PIA for sure. It actually may be a good move. Might stop the unlawful hauls, or at least make them pay big time for the damages they cause.

How will it possibly stop unlawful hauls, do you think the guy with that water truck that was no where near where he was supposed to be would have had a route survey?

Typical knee-jerk reaction by bureaucrats. Some TDOT idiot was posting on the signboards not to leave kids in a hot car, because every year a few morons do that.

If stupid people wouldn’t routinely leave a defenseless child in a hot car for a slow torturous death, they wouldn’t have to remind dumb@@es not to do it. My opinion is if it keeps just one child from a painful death, it is worth the minor inconvenience you experience reading the sign.

The person that will leave a kid in a hot car could have an audible reminder telling them to check the car for kids when they open the car door... and they will still leave the kid in the car. It is utterly IMPOSSIBLE to stupidproof the world.

But there is a way to save kids from hot car deaths. How? Legalize lead based paint once again. Darwin’s are supposed to die BEFORE they are old enough to breed. In other words, the people who would leave kids in hot cars themselves would never make puberty. Doing so would protect the herd.

“Six, that’s a terrible thought! You’re an awful person!”

Only if I filmed the little Darwin kids’ demise.
