Somebody posted that Sun Coast Energy is hiring 70 drivers in Corpus Christi now. You shouldn't have any trouble getting a good job in that area.

I would also suggest Dupre logistics. You likely qualify for them. I know they were hiring...not sure now.
Daycabdriver and d o g Thank this. -
Suncoast is hiring in Houston. And they haul crude out of Houston too. Will start about 20-21$ an hour and probably bring home around 1100-1200 WEEKLY after taxes. Yeah they're doing the same thing in corpus Chrisi too. Along with Keenan Advantage Group. The pay should be about the same. Both haul fuel also and the pay should be about the same if you went that route.. Good luck!!
d o g and Daycabdriver Thank this. -
Suncoast also does crude in Victoria. You might not even have to relocate.

Anyone know about a crude oil trucking outfit I saw down in S TX. Can't recall the name it was something like Altus or Atlas, they had trucks running around the Victoria, TX area. Thanks for any info.

Thanks you guys... I actually was interested in SunCoast and I knew they had drivers in Corpus Christi, I didn't know they were hiring and I thought they ONLY hauled gas and diesel in the Houston area. their website doesn't say anything bout crude but I will give them a shot. the worst they can say is no...right.I will also look into Dupre, I have seen there tucks here in Houston. Maybe I'll talk to one of there drivers and feel out what kind of company Dupre is and how they pay, treat there drivers and such. Hope they will give me a chance. but most of all hope I can get to that 1200 to 1500 average Take Home pay a week.
I actually have an uncle that drives in corpus for suncoast but he has been no help
. Maybe he's afraid I'm gonna take his job...I can't drive my truck AND his right? anyway thanks for the tips, any more tips would be greatly appreciated.
Aso an update I just completed my H2S course online and now have my H2S certificate. Next up is getting my OSHA-10, wish me luck!Chibob Thanks this. -
My advice? At some point, go down and have a talk with your uncle. Buy him a coffee, or a beer (whatever fits), tell him what your looking at and why your looking. See what he says. He might agree with you once he hears your side of it. He might also give you some insight that changes YOUR thinking as well. At minimum, he likely has a good idea of where you should be looking for work.d o g Thanks this. -

I hope I didn't break the rules by posting these links. If I did, I do apologize. I'm not affiliated with these websites. It's just where I'm getting the classes from.d o g Thanks this. -
A few outfits I know that are hiring. Some are not all driving related, but more money working on a crew if thats your thing.
www.cetcooilfieldservices.com is looking for entry level in wireline, coiled tubing, well services and I saw one listing for a Nitrogen driver out of Springtown, TX.
Pioneer Energy Services www.pioneeres.com is also hiring wireline and coiled tubing workers. These jobs all need CDL drivers to get the equipment where its going. So if just driving is what you want, these may not be for you. I do not know any details as far as wages, benefits and schedules. You would have to contact them direct for more info. I am just throwing some names out there that I have applied to. Hope this helps someone looking for work.security58 and Daycabdriver Thank this.
