Halliburton used to do a 14/7 schedule and paid for the week off, but they stopped doing that last i heard. The catch is you're working for halliburton making a fraction of what other companies pay

I've been working on a Halliburton site for the past week, and those guys were telling us they are paid for their week off (40 hours of regular time pay), but Halliburton is doing away with their per diem pay altogether soon, which is sizable. A bunch of them were getting ready to quit and go elsewhere.

On the other hand, the Baker Hughes crew I worked with last week isn't paid for their time off but they are paid for 24 days every single day they work, even though they're putting in 15 hours on the clock at most. They make great money, and are paid for sleep time.

It really just depends on what company you're with, but it's no secret that Halliburton has and will continue to be the lowest paying of the majors.
