I didn't text, call back or download the app. I figure I have a dispatch who can answer those questions. It was a re bar load for flatbed so nothing important. Your thoughts

Bnsf had me do this as well when I hauled a load for them. It was a app that monitored my cell phone gps to track my progress. I immediately uninstalled after I delivered the load.
OLDSKOOLERnWV and Jeck Thank this. -
Saves the brokerage house money if you use the app. They don't have to utilize man power to track their loads in the system by calling the driver for status updates.
Same concept as trucking companies utilize with dispatching/communication systems installed in trucks.Jeck Thanks this. -
I have the app on my phone & I use it with certain customers. I actually prefer it to them calling me or me having to call to check in. I don't feel it's micro management because they don't dictate what I do as far as route I drive or if I stop, etc...
Jeck Thanks this. -
I've had an app macro(something). It had 4 buttons to hit. Arrive to load. Loaded
Arrived at receiver and empty.
Easy enough. Uninstalled after trip was done. -
I refuse to do it. Had no problems yet
Jeck Thanks this.
