I also didnt see any traditional mirrors. Makes me guess that theyre using a video system. The ones Freightliner is testing are cool as heck. Its amazing the visibility you get in all conditons - light/dark, rain, etc.

 

How much will this technological monstrosity cost without subsidies and how much will charging cost , and just for curiosity how much does a replacement battery pack cost , even though I hear it will never wear down , just asking

 

I don't know if you've heard or not,but Tesla wants the government to end subsidies for EVs. It's hurting business.

Yeah and warren buffet has been saying for years he wants his taxes increased , he can just give the money back , that goes double for buffet , no limit on donations to federal reserve .
My question still stands how much will it cost with out subsidies , so we can see if it's even feasible , and what is the cost of a new battery pack

The Tesla car batteries can come with an 8 year/unlimited miles warranty. The trucks will have something similar.

8 years unlimited for a car and 8 years unlimited for a cmv , yeah nice try pal .

 

Karen - who is not a truck driver - want's us all to convert to battery powered trucks! This is typical of the mentality of these people who are " smarter than the rest of us " Not only do they want us to convert to the technology they are pushing but they want us to pay for it with subsidies and tax money "for our own good" That is why each tesla has about $10,000 in tax money subsidies for a " luxury car for rich people paid for by those who go to work in old "bad cars and trucks".
