Carhartt had the same cost for over 6 years now. The material is out standing and hands down the best.

buying online can be tricky ,sometimes the goods don't look nothing like what you get kinda like going Into KFC the food you buy doesn't look the same as what is advertised .

If you want quality and something that isn't going to fall apart in 6 months, don't buy it at walmart for god's sake.

I have rain gear called "Frog Toggs" , I just put them on over my normal jeans and sweat shirts or "T" shirts and shorts. I can lay in the snow for difficult chaining, keep dry in the rain... use them all year. They are light and easy to work in. Just make sure you purchase the ones with the "attached" hood with a visor. Also purchase a set with the strong elastic waist band. The overall type will drive you nuts because the straps slide off of your shoulders.

I have a Carhartt hoodie that is warm enough for most days, a Carhartt jacket when it gets cold and windy, and insulated pants if it gets way too cold. If it's too cold for the jacket and pants too cold to be working.
