Burning time before I can go deliver in SC. One of those "GOTTA BE DROPPED DURING" windows or they give you a service failure. Stupid. Already asked if I could drop it early, nope. Then I'll probably head on up to the Charlotte OC. If I can get lucky I'll keep running tomorrow. If I can't find any loads out I'll probably go home so I can replace my primer plunger. Had to upgrade to the small ratchet strap to hold it down because the bungee strap was no match for fuel pressure apparently.

Sounds like a target DC or home depot.

That's what I was thinking, but he mentioned a "super steep" hill going into the gate?

Man WTF is with Charlotte tonight. There is NO WHERE to park. Regular lot - FULL. Moron bobtails parking in front row. CHECK. Lamppost front row spot perfect for bobtails??? EMPTY. COME ON. Lots of trucks parked "Alabama rest area" style, perpendicular to everyone parked in a spot, at the back of their trailers. Trailer lot is FULL. Not ONE spot. More bobtails sitting in spots where a truck and trailer could fit in the trailer lot.

So guess where I'm parked? AS FAR FROM CIVILIZATION AS HUMANLY POSSIBLE, IN THE ****ING BACK OF THE TRAINING AREA.

Sometimes I really hate this OC. Stop being so ****ing cheap, pave and paint some lines. Hire a towing service to come in and move bobtails and then charge it back to the drivers who waste a spot where someone with a trailer could park. ****.

    I'm a little grumpy tonight.

Charlotte OC sucks!!!! No squeegee to clean your windows, no freakin paper towel. Out of paper when you try to get a fuel receipt. The clean up guy is always watching TV. The chow hall is a joke., and i hate the guy who wears his hat to the back.

That is what I always hated about that OC. That place is way too small for the amount of trucks they have. And what is it about being bobtail, that just makes a driver stupid? In 10 years of driving, I have never taken up a full spot with a botail. I saw about 9 spots the other night taken up and the kicker was that the parking spots were single row. So they all could have doubled up. Irritates the heck out of me

Well found a decent load down to southern GA, click assign, even though I set my NAT up correctly last night, "NO FEASIBLE SOLUTION" comes up.

    **** that.

Not gonna get out of my nice and toasty sleeper cave to wake the MCP up as it might be tomorrow by the time it boots up and lets my update my NAT.

So I try to call in, get on hold of course. While waiting I refresh the load. Of course all the load info shows up this time when I refresh it. And I immediately know what this means... it's still showing on the board, but now someone else has booked it.

    Hang up the phone.

    *************.

I hate when my NAT gets ****ed with. Sometimes I think some of the ICRs mess with it when they see it has "expired", meaning that the time has already passed, so they push it out further. But they royally **** me over when that happens because I can't assign a load if they've just pushed it out to some random time like they like to do. Oftentimes, when I don't have a load, I leave my NAT set to the time after I left the last shipper, especially if I'm at an OC. I don't care if that time has already passed. I am here at the OC NOW, my next available time to hook to a load is NOW if it's a relay at the OC, I don't ****ing care if I'm out of hours, I can still assign a load and go find it in the yard.

My old ICR never cared about this and wouldn't mess with it. The new one spams my MCP with EXPIRED NAT messages every time I go one minute past the time the NAT is set to and then probably pushes it out. I can't see why else it would be changing.

Oh well, booked a load out of the same place tomorrow go to the same place in GA.
