Yeah, my Devour has the opposite problem. Any noise hits the mic and not only can I hear it talkback through the speaker, but it cuts off the other end of the call. I can't hear anything but what the mic hears. It's like trying to talk on a two way radio. I swear there's some really stupid engineers out there.
What's really sad is that I used to have a $20 cheapie phone that I could talk on just fine riding my motorcycle down the interstate with straight pipes. -
Does anybody know if a stylus will work on a smart phone.
I have a Motorola Blur phone and my big fingers have a very hard time with the little buttons on this website on this phone. -
Doesn't work on mine. Fingertip only.

Thanks for that.

The working man's fingers will always have trouble with the touch screen phones. But the way this nation is headed, the working man is becoming less and less, and scrawny fingers will rule.
Back to the topic, I would like a Droid X, due to its size, but I am happy with my Motorola i680 on the Nextel network. Their service has improved dramatically. -
It depends on what type of screen you have. Most manufacturers are moving from resistive touch to capacitive touch. Resistive touch screens register a tap whether it's a stylus or finger whereas capacitive touch screens are designed only register a finger. It does this by sensing your body's natural electrical energy. Which my wife found out renders it useless when wearing gloves or trying to tap with a fingernail.
FWIW My phone is an HTC Kaiser (formerly an AT&T Tilt)with a resistive screen which also has a nifty built in stylus. -
Coverage-wise, I would say Verizon.

I am about 95% In LOVE with my Blur!!!! Mostly have gotten over the small button issue.

Thunderbolt Rules. I love the ability to talk and use data at the same time. Also the 4.3" screen is a must.
