Well, except for the camera. The camera in the iphone 4 is flat out amazing.

Anybody use Cricket? They have a plan that they say is all 48 states, and the droid phone is pretty cheap($89).
    Unlimited talk is $55 mo.
I can also use the phone as a modem for $10 mo.
Sounds too good to be true.

My little sister and her fiance have a plan like that. I think it was through T-mobile. They got some nice little phones out of it and no problems with them. One neat feature they have through t-mobile is the ability to use a wireless connection to make free phone calls. Basically, if it's on the wireless here, it automatically reroutes all the calls through the internet. I thought that was pretty neat.

You'd better ask them about bandwidth limits as far as using it as a modem. For $10 it's probably a really low limit that you could break watching youtube videos and get hit with high overage fees.

Don't do this mistake. If you're OTR driver just pick ATT or Verizon coverage.
I tried T-Mobile and Sprint. Both are terrible (in 2013-2014). Switched on Straight Talk under ATT network, it's about $60/mo with taxes and fees for unlimited talk-n-text + 10Gb of 4G data (2G speeds after that).

You realize this is a a 4 year old thread right? Also at this point cricket is owned by ATT and works pretty good were Att has native coverage. (It doesn't have any outside roaming agreements in the USA.)
