    48 trucks,50 drivers.
However their fleet was aging-the trucks were 10 years old on average, plus FMCSA pegged them at a 24% OOS rating, which means they were getting pulled into scalehouses left and right.
And with the market the way it currently is they weren’t able to afford newer equipment-credit is tight, and interest rates are through the roof!!
Goes to show that even the smaller “Mom & Pop” companies aren’t immune to the recession!

The article alludes to bankruptcy but no word from the company.
Possibly they decided to shutter the business and retire instead of continuing on in a race to the bottom. This may have been their plan for some time
Local 200 truck 70 year old company in my area did just that. Closed the doors and retired. Owner is pedalling off the equipment and some high dollar terminals real estate
