We are actually Portland only and are separate from the Portland CO2 barn, and the Fife and Ferndale Locations. We have had a few of our larger customers upgrade their onsite LIN plants and thats taken away work. We've had a few accounts switch to different processes and no longer need us to serve them, and then general slow downs. Fife gives us some of their workload as they have gotten so new contracts that require a ton of product continuously and also have to deal with Canada runs quite a bit, we are very grateful for the work. I just was up in Tumwater Monday Night, 15 minutes away from the Fife yard

Thanks buddy!
6 weeks, man thats so close! I sent the boss a text today about it and asked him if I need to prepare, that I was willing to transfer to another Linde site out of state and that I understood that I was the bottom of the totem pole and there would be no hard feelings. He said they werent looking at cutting anyone.......however there was a "But" after that, that we "Can have a better conversation when we catch up in person" I know I can get on with another Linde location if I get let go, But I havent gotten my year in so I dont know if they will let me transfer or if I will have to quit and then reapply. As of now Linde has 28 Barns hiring guys. -
Would it just be a transfer at that point or would you have to apply if you needed to move?Friend Thanks this.
-
I think you need a year in to transfer
-
I think I would need to resign and then reapply, since I havent been here a year. BUT if its a situation that My Terminal is initiating, that may be a different circumstance, becasue I'm not the one initiating it. I can only speculate. I only need another month to make my year. I'll put it on the back buner until I come back from vacationviper822004 and Friend Thank this.

I wouldn't give my rig up. But its a manual so more than likely wouldn't know how to drive it anyway.

We went from kind of a slow start at the beginning of the year but after some restructuring man it’s been super busy. We just picked up two new drivers and are told more work is coming. 2026 should be full steam ahead!viper822004, lual, scythe08 and 2 others Thank this.

Nice.
We had a transfer and our #2 driver leave so we are moderately busy.
KC was down after flooding so contractors are picking up at the plant and that allows our guys to pick up overtime is they want -
There is currently no openings. But I saw there is a company in Maine called Maine Oxy. Looks like they haul their own cryo trailers. Probably fill up at Messer in Kittery. Well technically they got a opening in NJ. But it's hauling cylinders Class A Driver
