McLane foodservice or McLane grocery? cuz it's not clear

also find out if ti's liftgate and pallet jack or ramps? (cuz liftgate way easier on the knees)

but the pay and bene's are real (either one)

My division requires 6 months of experience or 3 months of beverage experience but depending on the location it might be lax on requirements it would hurt to try.

They’ll usually post a specific job listing for a driver trainee if they do. But like @Cardfan89 said, it can’t hurt to try anyway.

My advice is try to get on beverage (beer, coke, Pepsi ect) and then when you get some experience try foodservice they will definitely hire you with beverage experience

I agree with @Cardfan89. It can be overwhelming to learn how to work the back of a food service trailer, but having to learn how to drive as well can be too much for anyone to handle.

Just for reference, I started with Budweiser distributor, went to Coca-Cola, then to Sysco.

I’ll see what happens. I’m going to try to get in at a local milk company delivery milk to stores. Union gig that pays well and has great benefits. Dad worked there for 20 years before moving out of state. Hope he can pull some strings to get me in.
