As some of you may have seen there were a few threads posted by a guy named Andrew Kimmel (sp?) about recruiting drivers for a new show. It wasn't a joke, the History Channel is making a new TV show called Extreme Truckers that should air this fall.

One of our fellow members here on the Truckers Report has been cast for this new show. Dave aka "extremetruckerdave" on here and "ding0295" and "ExtremeTruckerDave" On YouTube.

Since the History Channel Owns all rights to ALL footage taken and recorded he can't video the show and post that on YouTube OR give any Hints or Clues as to what there doing or about the show. BUT.......

He can still make Vlogs about his experiences in "INDIA" where they are filming this new show Currently as of May 12, 2010.

And since this info is all pubic on his YouTube Channels I am going to keep updating this thread every time he post a video, I will Post it on here.

Never met the man or followed any of his blogs before, but I think he has doubts.

For people that have never been out of the U.S. it can be a real eye opener.

I wonder how many times he has said so far WHAT AM I DOING HERE?

I hope it goes well for him and he can hang with it.

I've lived overseas and yes, it is usually a culture shock - especially somewhere like India. From what I've seen of it and heard about it one of the last places on earth I'd like to visit or live is India. Most of the countries I've been to and lived in I'd never want to wheel a truck there. Bad roads, loco drivers, poorly maintained equipment......

Looks like a wash out coming. If these vlogs are real I don't see them doing the show any favors.
