As long as he turns in his cpap data on time he’s golden.

All that shows is food can be an addiction like many other things. Easy to get caught up in that doing long term OTR work. I don’t judge anyone for being overweight in this industry, I feel sorry for those guys honestly… I totally get how it happens. That said it doesn’t have to happen either. It just takes a change mentally and a plan that you can stick to.

At least they're working and not living on a government handout. But it is wild they passed a physical. The flip side of that there are people who have been put out of work due to failing a dot physical. That can be ruinous and worse than the health problem. It's just one more worry that truckers have to deal with.

All the talk here about protecting your CDL and driving safely. Being healthy should be a bigger part of that.
Seriously, that dude's a heart attack away from killing himself and someone else at 65mph.ElmerFudpucker, W923, Speedy356 and 4 others Thank this. -
That’s depression on full display.
As for their DOT physicals, they may be on 3mo or 6mo cards. Who knows? None of it is my business.
Bottom line is, they’re out here working like the rest of us, putting up with all the same BS, which is more admirable than being the person creating a video, judging them. If OTR was easy and prosperous, everyone would be out here doing it.RockinChair, ElmerFudpucker, TruckDriver87 and 5 others Thank this. -
probably drive better than 1/2 the kids out there.
201 Thanks this. -
On the flip side, can you imagine one of those drivers going back into the shipping office and telling them they have to cut the load because they scaled over gross?
W923, TheLoadOut, 201 and 1 other person Thank this. -
If the DOT could determine driver suitability for driving by watching him get into the truck we wouldn't have to go to the doctor.
"It doesn't have to make sense, it's trucking." -
Even the dog in the video had a “what the hell is this?” look on his face.
