Ive been following along ,read every single page ,thank you for all this info. it has helped me make the decision to take the plunge into ownership as well . hope your dad does great and please keep posting your progress here.

 

Well it’s not all roses. I had associated grocers,Kroger,us foods,Sysco,and performance food group today. You want to try this reefer on for size?

You just have to figure out what motivates people. One Sysco I never even check in. I’ll call the receiver 30 min out, and have a door when I get there. Put the bills and a little cash in back of trailer,wait for the green light. Normally 30-45 min gate to gate.
That us foods yesterday you need to be a ghost. I had two pallets unloaded myself in and out 40min. Another driver in the office complaining he only had two pallets and had been there over two hours. He was still waiting when I left.

@blairandgretchen I thought about you the other day. I remember you mentioning the TruckLite LED headlamps (I've had them a couple years, they're great but..) and getting some for your new whip. Anyway, after pulling off twice around Cleveland Monday night to clear off the ice, I ordered these. Heated bezels. If you haven't already done the same, I'll let you know how these work out. Hope they work. Playing "where's the shoulder" at night on snow sucks.
