Last 5 minutes is golden. Dispatch will call and say "so-n-so" has a load for $1650, I told him I'd have you give him a call. For some reason, everyone acts surprised when the rate-con comes in for $2700. Of course all of this goes out the window if 11 out of 12 loads were happily covered with no negotiations from the drivers that took them.
