I might actually have to look more seriously into Crete at this point. Their dedicated fleet out of North Platte has been on my short list for awhile.

I think you would enjoy that specific account at that location. They’re running area for that region is as far as I have seen is as far west as Denver Cheyenne up to the Dakotas all the way to Minot and Fargo western Minnesota western Iowa, Kansas, northern Oklahoma, and western Missouri.

To be honest, I would give back $.02 of the raise if they would just put an APU on my truck. Between the fuel savings and my $.02, they would probably break even over the life of the truck, and have a higher trade/resale value.

The down side, all the winter weather fun running north and west from there, although with us having the Cheyenne DC account, not sure how much westbound freight they do out of there.

I'm pretty sure I've seen Crete trucks at my local Walmart

If Prime can have APUs. Then any company can have them. Most make the excuse about drivers not keeping a eye on them. But like I said Prime has them.

I'm all for the APU but they would need to up the inverter to at least 2kw instead of this 1.2kw they have mow. This wont even run my "700w" microwave. Killawatt shows the micro takes 1275w to run it. My inverter doesn't like that...lol. I can get it run on surge for about 60 seconds before it quits.

I had an inverter when they were experimenting with them in the mid 2k's. Had a tripac that also ran the AC. It could be 120°f and that thing would keep it 68° all day long.

    I miss that.

I have a 700 W microwave that I continuously use this truck of mine and have never had any issues… Wonder if you’re having battery issues with your truck
