Got a load out of Wilmer (a customer not off the yard). It's going north of Ft. Wayne for Monday, then I pick up a load out of Gas City going to Omaha for Wednesday morning. Then I head to Lincoln to have this POS Peoplenet changed out. And it can't happen fast enough. The PTA date glitch is getting worse, then today it insisted I sign in again, but I spent 45 min getting it to re-authenticate so I could see my messages. I still have a yellow envelope icon on my message screen (it means something is waiting to send) and it spent over 1/2 an hour with no cell service, so either we're having a bunch of sun spots or Iran is hacking us because President Gump is bombing them again.

I'm just the opposite. APUs always woke me up from sleeping. Opti-idle never does. Then again, I used to wake up when the reefer turned off when I was pulling them for Wallmark.

hope not dumb twucker Thanks this.

we got $.03 the last Saturday in May, and are getting another $.04 August 1st.

They also claim that they are turning down as many loads as they are accepting right now. If it's true, I hope they aren't pissing customers off by not being able to cover the extra loads

That's what made me such a lite sleeper, when I was getting fleeced at Prime, their reefers were less than reliable so the least little unusual vibration woke me up thinking the reefer was shutting down. That sensitivity has stuck with me ever since.

It gave me PTSD in the LTL business. Years ago I’d call when I got done, IF my dispatcher was still there. No more pickups at that point means a completely stress free ride home. Now there’s no telling what BS may pop up at the last minute.
