I'm headed east on the 401 yesterday. About 5kms after leaving the Tilbury onroute with a coffee, I have my cruise set at 99. Another truck comes up in the hammer lane to pass me and the few vehicles in front of me. Behind him is an suv less than 1/2 a cars length from his bumper, swerving side to side looking, and probably yelling "get out of my way". As this happens we pass an OPP car, pointed west, sitting in the median. I think, "Here we go he will give him a ticket". Nope doesn't move. The guy has no fear of a ticket because he just keeps it up and as soon as the truck STARTS to move into the right lane the suv is half way on the shoulder and pushing his way by the truck Foot to the floor. Still no lights coming, cop doesn't move. He was sitting facing west, clear view of this, and his head was up looking around I looked right at his face. WTF was he doing? (Insert cheap too easy donut joke here) if this was the first time I saw an OPP not do his job it would he one thing but it's just the norm. And that's why the 401 is an unregulated gong show. But they have a Shiney chopper and Sgt Kerry what's his face running around being the Facebook guy?? Un real.
the OPP never seem to do their job....

Car like this is why dash cams are helpful. Use the video as proof that law enforcement isn't doing their jobs.
The camera system my company uses had 3 angles, forward, rearward drivers side, and rearward passenger side. -

Trucks holding up impatient 4 wheelers on the 401. The joys of what is effectively a split speed limit.
