The Potential Implementation of Artificial Intelligence in the Trucking Industry

To anyone that sees this,
I'm writing a story about the future of the trucking industry and how there's a possibility of making A.I. the new norm in the industry, which has the potential to replace over 500,000 jobs of humans who work in said industry. If anyone would like to drop a comment describing their status as a trucker/non-trucker and their perspective on this (how do you feel), I would greatly appreciate it.
