And this is one of the reasons for separate boards. You're line or city, not both.

I wish I had your money. I got a payment on my little work beater pickup. I'm barely getting by over here at SAIA. I only get 440 miles a night. It's tuff.

    hotrod1653 and Old_n_gray Thank this.

One day I'm going to have me a Corvette like you. Us SAIA guys though we pretend to be as good as you Estes guys. I just got some new chrome hub caps for my wife's Chevy cobalt. It's kinda similar to a Corvette.

Chrome is an absolute no for me. I liked my car as we call it... Murdered Out. You can't see it at night and when I hit the kill switch... Goodbye

Finished at $111k. That includes 117k miles, 310 hours of dock work, and pin pay for building/breaking sets. 50 hours a week. $38.81/hr if you figure OT after 40.

I believe pay is lower-middle of the pack but I'm not sure about Cooper. I'm at MME and somehow even after 3 years of KNX ownership, things are still run quasi-independently. The pay at MME is middle of the road.

A guy could get into some quick seniority at one of the newer barns opened in 2024 but I'm not sure it's worth it. Cooper's equipment is absolute trash and there is a fair amount of nightly disfunction that nobody in upper management seems to know about or care about. Also all the new trucks across the three companies are Freightliners which is another big strike against it in my book.

The weak leg in this three headed LTL monster is definitely Cooper, and they're the biggest unfortunately.
