I'm just under $99,000 which is $13,000 lower than the same week last year. I've been canceled a crap ton this year.
BrothaTrucka513, Speed_Drums and jmz Thank this. -
Feels like a lot more drivers are getting in to the 'club', that's great to see!
jmz Thanks this. -
I’m at $110.5 about $10k off last years year to date number. Still have hope for some better paying projects to wrap up the year. That pushed me to 150 last year.
Speed_Drums and jmz Thank this. -
I did make it this year but not "generically" like the rest of you guys. My VA disability finally got approved and with what they are paying me I will cross that six figure threshold when combined with my driving job. It pays to get blown up I guess.

Better late than never I guess, glad you got that sorted out. Does the shutdown impact this at all for you?road_runner Thanks this.

That's a really good question. About 30% of my claims are still pending or under additional review, so I called up my VA person about it. She said everyone on the review side was still working, despite the shutdown.
I think a lot of people don't realize how much of the government is still running despite the shutdown. When I was active duty, we actually went through this process under Obama where shutdowns were not as common just yet. We were told we had to continue reporting to work but that our paychecks were being delayed. At the time I was maybe making 2/3 of what I am making now, so withholding all of my pay indefinitely was like ...no bueno. They did threaten to court martial anyone that tried to openly protest or not show up. Of course the whole thing resolved itself before our next check was due and aside from the scare, nothing changed.
But yeah, that is some BS right there. When they can force you into work without a paycheck because the people in government aren't getting along. But then military people are held to a weird standard where your personal finances are a thing. So if you have a gambling problem or spend money like Charlie Sheen (while on a junior enlisted salary) then the military can come after you. So the entire government shutting down due to the budget is fine, but rolling on base with a Rolls Royce pickup truck with two Vegas showgirls is over the financial line. -
Honestly, if you're in any way shape or form DoD personnel and you aren't a Navy Federal or USAA member, you're really leaving a HUGE benefit on the table that those two banks offer: continued payment during government shutdowns.
I'm just hoping this doesn't go on for long enough to impact student financial aid. I'll be irritated if it delays my degree program.hotrod1653 and jmz Thank this. -
At my new ATS job I make "up to" six figures

I'll definitely be on this list next year, but not with LTL Freight.
High Stepper, McUzi and jmz Thank this.
