Yeah, that's not a particularly good thing on a trailer. :biggrin_25523:

It’s a utility brand trailer. It was probably built that crooked. Cheap trailers with low quality control levels. Nearly every one I’ve pulled has a crooked rubrail from the factory.

I just looked at a brand new utility combo. I was slightly impressed compared to working on the older ones. The frame web is now lazer cut one piece. Not saying I want to try one. Because they are alittle late to that party. But it looked better than ones I have worked on.

cke, kylefitzy and 650cat425 Thank this.

I'm in food service now. I can't say how their current flats compare to their vans. But 3 years ago I was throwing shade at the company I was working for for buying new utility flat beds, that ended up needing a ton of work to make serviceable. 6 months ago I got to try out my new company's utility food service trailers. The latches on the doors wouldn't close without an act of hercules, and within a few weeks of being forced open and closed the doors and latches were falling apart.

If I had any say in purchasing trailers for a company I wouldn't give utility the time of day.
