I was going to start a thread “World’s Strongest Flarbedder” and post these pics as my bid to claim that title. Upon reflection, I knew I couldn’t mislead the good denizens of this forum and had to place them in The Hall Of Shame instead. That’s right, I laid my bar on my drives where I always do, the customer asked me to move forward a bit as he needed space to get his machine in, I dutifully complied and ran right over my bar! Bent her good !

That's nothing a little heat can't fix. Put it in a vice, heat it up good with a torch, and bend it back. :)

Holy #### man . No other damage ? I always put my bar on the deck and sticking out a couple inches off the rail, so if i forget to put it away i can see it in the mirrors. I never put it anywhere , where i cant see it in my mirrors. Thats my rule and i a rule i never break.

I left mine on the deck one time and didnt find it til 100 miles down the road when i went to tighten the straps down and couldnt find it in my side box... ya ... that was an oh ####, stomach dropping moment when i found it on the deck. Never again...

That’s the reason I always laid it on my front driver side drive, binder end laying on frame, sticking out over edge of drives. Figured if I forgot it and moved I’d see/hear it hit the ground. It was a gravel lot and only thing I can figure is it hit ground and bounced up and caught the metal arm the bottom of the air bag is bolted to and then ran over. There’s a small fresh scratch on that arm but that’s it. I believe we live and die by habits so I try to load/strap/tarp and untarp/unstrap/unload the same way each time, as much as freight allows. Got out of my routine by having to move in the middle of loading and presto! Pretzel Bar!
