Yes, and there were two other children with them that were injured but still alive. Yes, it's definitely sad. Like you, when I first saw this, I was looking for a squashed vehicle between the two, when I didn't see it, I reread the story and it says between two semi's, so by process of elimination, I deduced that yes, it was the red truck that held the immediate family.

Nope and sadly, by the looks of it, he was an O/O, who had the right to bring anyone he wanted with him, including his whole immediate family. I'm guessing that O/O are exempt from rider permissions. Not sure, but that doesn't look like a company truck, but I could be wrong.

cke, broke down plumber, Feedman and 2 others Thank this. -
I would guess you’re odds of surviving that are better unsecured might get pushed out of the way instead of smashed or cut in half
And it does appear to have been an o/o type and one who actually gave a ####
Really sad. I guess at least they won’t be ticketing the driver for what happened to his family….something that often appears to be about revenue generation because I honestly can’t imagine that if the driver had survived the fines would have been anymore than kicking him while he was down…. I mean for any normal human loosing that much of his family would surely be plenty of punishment -
Some of the videos that YouTube recommends I watch are slightly sketchy. I give this guy credit for his ingenuity, but I don’t believe I would run either rig on the road looking like this.

I don't remember if this showed up in here or not. It did a very good job of rage baiting all the 80,000 lb death missile pilots on Facebook!
