How is that only caring about myself? A question was asked, I answered. Didn't say reefers should F off or not park near me. Should I respond with oh look another truck driver that gets offended at the drop of a hat?

Let's review: Truck produces soot which is deemed unhealthy. So let's accumulate a bunch of it then incinerate it in an inefficient manner(the smell you describe) and pump it into the air.
But wait a minute. Every major city in the country used to have incinerators in the basement of all the apartment houses. But it was deemed unhealthy to pump that in the air, they were outlawed and we dump the stuff in some landfill somewhere.
I am confused.Lpirtle Thanks this. -
The whole industry went soft when the mega fleets started dumbing it down to point where anyone that can push the D button and follow a GPS has job...These aren’t truck drivers they are nothing more than steering wheel holders.Brettj3876, Gearjammin' Penguin, Finfn1372 and 1 other person Thank this. -
Backing beepers (KKW has 'em) are the worst with APU's coming in at a close second.
And those broke owner operators still hauling de-identified Dick Simon reefer trailers aren't much fun, either.
Rare, but highly obnoxious, are any tractors with a broken fan clutch. -
