On the surface it seems not so bad. As they say, the devil is in the details. Be sure to read and understand the actual contract before you sign it. #062 shows an example of the sort of fees that may catch you off guard.
I was at one carrier that allowed you to use their accounts for parts and repairs, however in the contract it spelled out that if you did that they charged 100% interest, another said 50% and the one I'm at now charges 10%. But I always just take care of it myself.
Another I was at came out with a new contract, when I went in the office the manager handed it to me. I sat down in a chair and proceeded to read it right there in his office. He said out of 141 truckers only 4 of us did that, the rest just signed it and left.

80% is meaningless , don't get caught up on a higher percentage.
80% of 1.00 per mile vs 75% of 2.00 per mile . This is just an example.

You probably shouldn't do it. It's not even good on the surface. The problems are inherently obvious in the sales pitch you posted.

But you have bigger issues. It's not the problems. It's the fact that you don't see them.

Ask 3 independent contractors that are with them. Ask for copies of their settlement for the last month. Explain why. Usually if they are doing well, they're happy to show you. If they are struggling, might be a bit reluctant. (Or not, they may show you as a warning)

No need to contact the company ... "80% of gross" is a show stopper.

And who's says they reveal the actual rate con to you? Yeah. 80% of $1.00 would suck. Especially if the rate con is actually $1.35 or so
