    Hi all,

I went to Thermo King to do a printout of the trip to show temperatures, but they were not able to retrieve recording, and they don't have any idea why. They weren't able to access it.

They said the unit works fine with no problems. But I can't get the record of the trip or any recent trips at the moment.

This is very unusual. AND NO ANSWERS. NOT EVEN BY THERMO KING.
Isn't strange??? I'm going back tomorrow to see if the recording will show up for today and tomorrow.

Definitely strange. I can’t tell you what the answer is other than I’ve never had it happen. If you do alot of critical reefer freight, which I guess one could argue it’s all critical, then TracKing may be worth the money to have all of the proof right at your finger tips. NIST testing isn’t a bad idea as well just to make sure all of your sensors are dialed in and perfect.

    Midwest Trucker,

Right? I haven't ever heard of it!

    SB 330

That really bothers me why it isn't recording recent trips.

No problem running frozen loads. The refer works well.

I was just made aware today actually when I asked for the report. I'm back to Thermo King tomorrow, and if they won't help me I will try another Thermo King location. But they have NO CLUE!

They said they have only seen something similar TWICE that they can remember. But never said what the issue might have been, not that they can remember.

If you get through the Midwest then the one in Indy is IMO very knowledgeable. They’ll atleast be able to give you an answer.

I guess, I should say it's bad luck.
    This is so RARE.

    Midwest Trucker,

That's the one I went to today.
Going back there tomorrow. And if they won't be able to, then I will try one in Illinois.

There is a small battery in the unit and if it is dead you won't be able to do a down load. My friend had the same problem.

Open the back of the panel, and there is a small square box located above the control panel. It has 4 screws, remove them, and unplug the box. On the back of box remove the 4 screws on the back and you will see a small battery. When you replace the battery and plug the box in you will see a light come on that is on the right of the box. This means the data is recording. You can buy the battery at home depot.

My first thought was battery as well but I just don’t know enough to speak on it. I bet your 100% right, great info!
