Yes, two straps are required, but most of the time you can't get them to clip in in front of the freight on both sides, and often they're just running straight across 6 inches from the pallet.

I pull reefer we use those ####ty load bars on those bulkheads. Gets the job done.

 

Notice the strap running straight across? That's how mine usually looked.

If they left the last two.pallets pushed up against one side, I could generally get at least on strap clipped in towards the nose, but if they put them both up against the wall, no chance. It also really depended on where the freight ended in relation to the etracks.

Not defending the EPA here. But hot sauce is pretty acidic and vinegar in that amount and concentration can actully cause issues for people with conprimised airways. My mom for instance requires oxygen and vinegar in large amounts can trigger asthma attacks for her. And the capsacin can cause chemical burns in specific amounts.

If washed into a storm drain it can also kill fish in a pretty wide swath. So while its not exactly toxic. It is an issue and needs to be handled a specific way.
