I was company at Prime but most of the drivers there are lease. I would say if you just talk to a Prime driver in the truckstop they'll most likely be a lease driver.

I was averaging $1800 gross a week At Heniff, some weeks over 2100.
Girton LLL averaged roughly the same best week over 2400.
QC about 1600 a week average good weeks over 2000. Most Ltl/line haul jobs yo make the same. These were all weekends off . But the bigger checks were Saturday work included

Right, but company truck will never be yours and 99% of the companies think you’re a machine that can work 70 hrs a week with 3 days a month off

I wish you nothing luck, but I think You're selling yourself short on your goal.
I was never forced to run out my 70 more like 55-60. Plenty of time off actually a month paid with vacation and holiday pay per year, I'd volunteer for weekends if I wanted extra cash. I'm just saying your asking for company driver money with all the headaches of ownership.

I run chemical tank and I can't remember the last time I got near 70 hours. Or did a 34 away from home.

Not likely ... it's easy to pull that kind of money as long as you're not concerned about where you're going.

But, as soon as you need to go to specific location, then your are are constrained to only the freight going there. There may not be that much freight and or it may not pay that well.

Same with heading out. How good is the freight where you live and does go to where the freight is good.

So you'll only do well for one week. The other 2 weeks are going to be hit and miss.

If you want make it, go on a 12 week cycle. 9 to 9.5 weeks out and 2.5 to 3 weeks home. Overall it's the same amount of home time. And you stand reasonable chance to make enough during the 7 weeks to cover the short fall of the outbound inbound weeks.

Just curious, what is your reasoning for wanting to lease versus being a company driver?

    Ok, enough.
When I did it with Schneider 2 or 5 years ago, $10k a month meant that you really weren't trying that hard.
That was all in......fuel, insurance, the whole deal.
But, at the end of the year you needed to set aside at least $15k for taxes and, according to my accountant, another $15k for SEP, (ROTH).
    PLUS....maintenance.......my worst year was $15k.
    So, $120k, minus $45 = $75k
    There ya go.

Look, it was really good to me with Schneider. The best part was knowing what I was going to do from one day to the next.
The money allowed me to pay off a bunch of stuff and be completely debt free.

People talk a bunch of stuff about Schneider, and that's fine.....but most of them have never run for them. I have and did well.
