    Monetary=NO!!

    Some Few Said "Don't Come Back".
    Some VERY Few said "We're Sorry You Had To Wait So Long To Get Loaded" (or maybe just from hallucinatory audio).
    - - - -
    No Receiver EVER Said "We're Refunding Your Unloading Fee".
    MANY Have Said: "If You Don't Like This or That, DO NOT RETURN".

    this question comes up every so often, to wit i answer a LOUD...NO.

    only the food servers get a tip, and THAT is even if they get my order in a timely fashion when i sit down, and deliver it to me as quickly as possible.

    NO other workers at a truckstop get a tip, as they already GET paid at least minimum wage or more.

    the wait staff get paid LESS than minimum wage, where the tips make up the difference to match or go OVER minimum wages for them.

    No, never. As far as food goes, why do those working at high end restaurants suddenly become worth so much more? Why not flat rate tip $3-4 since service doesn't scale with food price?

    Lite bug and buddyd157 Thank this.

    I do occasionally. Anytime I pay for something that is better than "average" I try to let them know I appreciate it. Better than average is hard to come by these days. Kinda like a hot dog. Don't really like them, but if you give me a really good one I'm willing to pay more.

    Yes. I believe their job is one of the most important gigs out there and I appreciate their efforts. If I got a few dollars I lay em down. God bless all of our shower porters!

    Cost of living will just go up and inflation that $20.00 an hour will be same buying power as $12.00 an hour does now.
