Tips and helpful information for new truck drivers.

This is just a thread sharing some things I think newbies might like finding out about.

 

I discovered. Instead of putting on my sun glasses. Lowering the visors works well often times. It’s the brightness from the sky that is often causing me to wear sun glasses. This is often better.

 

I’m a driver with almost 4 years in. I went through 6 companies in 3 years. I’m now at a 20. Something trucking company. We have contracts hauling out of Denver. Then get backhaul back to Denver. This is by far the best I have found. Not perfect. We have our problems. Just the best. I’ve put on 100,000 miles in 8 months with this company.

 

The owner just let me know. It’s ok with him if I put up a tent garage for my car at the terminal. He was gonna buy it for me. I said I wasn’t asking for that. He told me to set it up in the best possible place. Right outside the office. Against the building.
