Why is my tire wearing like this? It is my drive axle passenger side. I dont haul heavy containers or exceed 70 miles per hour. The temperature today was around 85 degrees.

Check brake operation. Those tires were drug for a distance to cause those marks.

You can see in the photo that the tires are different and may be slightly different in diameter which would explain why one wore worse that the other when they were drug. Most likely empty or for a very brief time.spsauerland and BoxCarKidd Thank this. -
Those tires were skidded. From locking up the breaks. Plain and simple

Thank you all for yr replies. Im gonna have to go with "skidded". I was working in a sandy parking lot, so a brief bobtail lock up would be possible.
