Well I have been a titan transfer driver since feb 2011 and after 11 years of the wrong companies to work for I am proud to call titan home. I can tell you this much. The insurance is good, I had emergency surgery and was off for almost a month they didn't complain and they didn't fire me. I had a new truck sitting on the yard not making them any money and they didn't make me mt it, it just sat there waiting for me to come back. They do run their trucks absolutely legal. It is forced dispatch except for NYC and they make that clear before hire. All the office personel and dispatch and load planners are always eager to help in any capasity they can. Mr. Hodges is always available to speak with and is always nice. Mr. Edwards is always available also as is Mr. Thompson. It is a completely open door policy... any one considering titan as a home should call them. They r a wonderful company full of wonderful people.

Ugh. Mines been good besides the fact I do not like the seat, and when I wash the motor the sensors send Wayne emails that I'm blowing up the motor:biggrin_2551:

I miss my 587 for comfort but do not miss the shop time:biggrin_25520:

I agree on the comfort of the seats in the freightliners. I like the apu in them and they run pretty good but the seats are not comfortable at all. The Lane Departure in mine doesnt work right at all either. I also miss the 587 for comfort. I dont know why they went with frieghtliner instead of Peterbilts this time. At least they take care of their equipment. I also love the new trailers that we got. Well I run team for them and love working there but wish they would get the ac fixed in my truck, its way too hot to not have ac in the sleeper. Titan is definitely a company that I would recommend to someone that wants to be home and have some kind of life outside of a truck.

That's absolutely RIDICULOUS! Some idiot is passing you and holding up a business card and telling you to pull over, and you pull over? Yea right, what a JOKE!!!

Small town. People actually wave at each other. And pull over on the shoulder out of respect for a passing funeral precession. Somewhat unlike what you probably experience in a typical Florida town overrun as it is with outsiders and their bad habits?

about 22 years ago while working at a oil co as a service tech installing gas lines, my co worker & I were at a home which a woman who just moved there from FL. was on a rant, cussing about all the folks in limestone county waving & when she goes out to the stores cashiers & other workers would ask how are you? you don't f'n know me, don't talk to me is what she told me she was thinking & she wanted to move back to FL.

There are actually people who get offended if you are nice & friendly to them. I will never understand & don't want to.
