What can anyone tell me about TMC? The good the bad and of course the ugly. I am thinking flatbed may be for me and TMC says their linehaul division drivers are home 46 out of 52 weeks. I will be retired from the AF when and if I become a trucker so home time will be somewhat more important than making a mountian of money. In other words I will trade home time for less pay. BTW, I am in SC, I hope that is in their hiring area?

I tell you something else that I would consider a plus, a rider program. My oldest is grown and out on her own however my son (17) and youngest daughter (11) mean the world to me. Being able to take one of them with me over the summer months would be a big bonus.

TMC has a rider program you have to wait 6-months though. Kids have to be at least 10 years in age. They do get you hame every weekend, unless
for some unforseen reason they can't that were the 46 out of 52 comes to play. They do hire line haul in SC and it is a good company to work for.
I live in SC and have been with them about three months. They have a good training program and teach you everything you need to know.
