TN police record mayor setting ticket quota.

I'm familiar with that little hayseed town. 2,076 residents and 7 police cars plus a modern fire department.
Traffic tickets has been the only way they keep out of bankruptcy.
Less than a mile of highway city limit to city limit and they keep it flooded with police cars writing tickets due to sudden drop in speed limit at either end of town.
The town on the northern end of Ridgetop proposed a merger of the fire departments and police departments, but Ridgetop said they don't need any Yankee hillbillies nosing in their business. They called them Yankees because the other town city limit touches Ridgetop's northern city limit line.

 

Yea Ridgetop don’t play. lol. That’s right up the road from me.

I remember you saying you lived in Robertson County. I live in the Cross Plains area of White House.

 

It's nice in that area of Tennessee, but I decided to try something different and get away from the winter ice & snow, so moved here Las Vegas/Henderson several months ago.
Is Millersville police still harassing people on the interstate?

 

Yep all the time. Well, they’ve settled down a little bit. They like to sit at the bottom of the hill between the hwy 257 and Millersville exit. I don’t mind too much since people always fly down that hill and cause accidents.

 

I wonder what TBI’s opinion is on this matter,seeing how it is illegal under TN state law to have a quota.
