That's funny cuz when I was growing up my brother had a couple friends both named Mike. So one was Big Mike the other one just Mike and I was Little Mike.

Been using Browning antennas for quite some time now, they’re a good tuneable option coil style whip antenna that seems to pair well with my old 29 and a good coax, either way they put out a few anodized options (blue and red) so I jumped on one and I have to say I like the way it looks, and I already know it performs well so it’s a win win for the old anthem :) IMG_1149.jpeg

When I was a kid my dad did a lot of bartering as a side gig. Mostly cars, trucks, guns, and occasionally hunting dogs. He got a beagle on a trade once and he told us to NOT give her a name because he wasn't going to keep her. Well some time passed and the dog was still there so we started calling her No Name. He never traded her off.

I put the red one on mine. Cb shop determined that I have a poor ground. So I have to get some ground strap to fix it. Not sure why I can't just use regular heavy gauge copper wire. The ground strap so far has been hard to find in the size I need it. I am running my classic 29 as well. Might put the galaxy 88 in eventually.

If you’re ever around St. Joe MO there’s a good cb shop up there. My buddy ran up there this weekend and dropped his General Lee off and a Galaxy 66 then came back with this.

That's nice. I've been eyeballing a high power Texas Ranger. It's like I don't know between 8:00 and 900 bucks and they say they can get like six or 700 Watts right out of the box on it. I doubt I'll ever get it but it didn't be nice. The strikers are supposed to be really good radios too. But you definitely can't go wrong with a Connex

Him and a couple guys at work are big into radios. They know all about em and I know nothing about them. I’ve always had just Cobra Classics plugged into whatever the truck already had for antenna and cross my fingers and hope for the best.

Got my ground issue fixed today an swr set. Found out that the browning i got is defective. Had a 6 and 8 standing wave. They couldn't get it to lower at all. Put a medium length francis on and swr is now 1.5 on 1 and 2 on 40.

Hey @Trashtrucker1707 since you have a Mac anthem do you have a Webasto bunk heater? I mean I know they can be in any kind of truck but at any rate if you do do you have any idea why or what to look for if it's not putting out heat? Or anybody else on here that might have the answer feel free to chime in. Thanks. Yeah mine does everything it's supposed to but all it's blowing out is cool air it's cycles and all that and does what it's supposed to do. But no heat.
