Update-Just heard from Tim, he is stopped for the night. He got another call from the recruiter at JCT today. She has talked to the safety department and a few other people in the company about getting him on board. She wanted to know if we were okay with parking the truck in Tampa during home time, rather than bringing it home here and parking next to the house. At least she's still working on it for us, that's a good sign ... we haven't gotten a no yet.

Lady K and Skydivedavec Thank this.

It's never too soon to change jobs. A lot of knuckleheads on here will disagree but if you find a better company willing to hire why wouldn't you change jobs? Oh yeah.....that dreaded DAC that everyone is so afraid of!

Well I just heard from my husband. He got a call from Christina at JCT and she wants to set up orientation, he has been accepted! He is currently driving somewhere around the Dallas area, still on this trip. Now he has to figure out how to make it all happen. This is going to be quite an adventure!

Just tell your husband to put in his two weeks notice, and set up orientation for the week of September 30 if they have any open slots. Its always good to give notice no matter how good or bad the company was to him. You always want to leave on good terms with soon to be former employers. That way he can transition into a new company, and still get money from former employer during his first week at new employer.

    Skydivedavec and flyboynme Thank this.

He is home now. He is taking the online training for JCT and is scheduled for orientation the first week of October!
