Called TQL about a load. Booked it and when I see pick up address, it's 200 miles away. They had the wrong address posted on load board.
So I called to try and fix issue with an increased rate and they will not do it. Then told them I wanted to cancel...they said they were going to marked me down as refusing to load. I told them I was calling to cancel if they were not going to adjust the rate after they posted the wrong origin on the load board. Wound up canceling only to see what they do.
This is not the first bad experience with them. I call to ask about a rate, tell them I'll think about it and TQL broker keeps blowing up my phone. When I do answer they want to know my MC number. I told them I was not going to give it to them and. I longer interested in load. What gives with TQL???
TQL - wants me to dead head 200 miles for free

Didn't you ask for zip codes before committing to the load?

I just had to laugh when I read this.
TQL what a joke. I'm glad I'm able to right click and hide all there postings on ITSKB3MMX, izifaddag, SoTxTrucker and 1 other person Thank this. -
They've been paying out the nose on rates lately and their credit is good. I hardly see how it's their fault that the driver/carrier was too dumb to ask for zip codes on pick/del before commiting to the load.

Are they still using the system of send a rate sheet with a pickup and delivery city and dollar amount then a 2nd email with the actual pickup and delivery addresses and customers? Or have the shenanigans risen to a whole new level?

KB3MMX Thanks this.

So.....you agree in writing to move a load from city a to city b...for an agreed upon amount.....then they send over paperwork that says pick it up here and deliver it there....not the same as agreed......and the carrier is the jack wad.... okay.........
What world is this logical in?KB3MMX, SL3406, exhausted379 and 7 others Thank this.
