Always get a lawyer even if you are guilty

Well at least you didn’t try doing a U-Turn and getting stuck blocking traffic like some idiot did recently.

Look, I don’t know you or your experience level so don’t take what I say personally. And for any new drivers listen up.

Regardless of the construction in Shreveport, staying on I-20 is absolutely ridiculous. That stretch of road has been messed up for years. All you’re doing is beating the crap out of your equipment. Always take the bypass, it’s not perfect but it’s a heck of a lot smoother than 20.

@OlegMel I don’t know what to tell you about what to do because personally I myself would just own it..since I’m looking to exit the OTR life soon.

Even so, I don’t think I would waste time and money on a lawyer. I’d be more inclined to just get a hearing on my own and hope for a reduced charge. Since you have a clean record imo that may get you results that you can live with.

    Good luck.

Thank you for the input… I’ll see how serious it is. Don’t think it’s that serious tho.
I believe that we have to face consequences for our actions as well. My main concern is insurance going up significantly. I’m not worried about the fine amount. I appreciate the input.

    Numb Thanks this.

Not a moving violation, as far as I can tell?

    OlegMel and silverspur Thank this.

Non moving violation just a slap on the wrist aka a fine. Won’t even show on driving record.
