Trailer brakes cost lately (2022?)

    $450 an axle parts and labor for new shoes and hardware. Drums are $100 each it they are needed. This is at one of the the trailer dealers in Dearborn mi.

    Brakes were about $1200 all in. My bill was more but I had a hub cap replaced, thorough PM and some work on my auto inflation system. I'm satisfied, they did the job in half a day. Usually takes 3 or so for them to get to anything. Also, this was less than I paid at another place in town two years ago.

    Last time I paid a shop for Trailer brakes. Royal Trailer not the one in Dearborn, but Warren. They charged me $2100, for shoes and drums. They’re great for parts. I won’t use the Shop again.
