What happens if you get pulled into an inspection station and the trailer has no FHWA inspection and no physical registration card?

You get CSA points on your record.

Also can be put OOS depending on the officer if they think it's stolen.

Just google CSA points. It's actually on your companies record but you CAUSED them.

Should be 6 or 9 points I believe.

Let me clarify. I'm not an owner operator. I'm a company driver. They want me to move a trailer with an expired inspection, it has a plate and is registered, but they have no reg card for it.

    I can be fined personally?

drive at night, call ahead on the cb to see if the coops are open, take an exit and hide out from the DOT and the low flying drones.

i can't tell you how many trialiers i have had to go and find, and get them back to a terminal or a shop for an inspection. never an issue, driving at night.

if the DOT stops you at a scale house, sure they can make you drop the trailer, then what? hold you there??

call the company and tell them thier trailer is being held hostage by the aliens, then go get a coffee and roller dog.

the worst case scenario, the company has to fax over the copy of the registration to the scale house.
