I bought a trailer from a rent to own place, on March the 4th, they're de rating it, registering and sending me the tag, I have paperwork showing that I've purchased it and that it's being de rated. I don't know how much longer it'll be before I get the tag, but it hasn't been 30 days yet, and I haven't been pulled over, just wondering if I'm likely to get a ticket for not having the tag, or if the paperwork will do. I'm running non hotshot CDL with a SRW 3500, but I have a CDL. Truck is plated at 26k also.

You could probably get some temp plates for it for the time being. Should be able to do it online I would guess. Although if you have a bill of sale for it and title - that should be enough to satisfy a traffic stop
