Bring cash, split grocery bill, eat what he eats. He knows what fits and how to make it.

Otherwise, loaf of bread and a jar of peanut butter goes a long way.

 

My Step Son went through this, he ate quite a few hot dogs, 2 for $3. He could not afford a sit down, that is easily $15, Subway was a treat... To stay kind of happy out here, figure $20 a day for food, unless your trainer is feeding you... But, I think those days are long gone. Don't know what to tell you. Myself, I bet I spend easily $30 a day, not including smokes. Around $70 a week at Walmart for food in the truck. So, figure $200 a week to eat out here, but that is just me.

Oh, the Step Son, he quit trucking after a month on the road. He has not looked back.

Get the ts point cards ASAP AND make sure he let's you use your ts point card every time YOU fuel on duty.
