I started driving about 15 years ago, but I did three years dedicated for hazmat tanker company. I gave up my CDL and it’s been about a 15 year break for driving. I went back to CDL school and now I’m going to be looking for a job. Now I know I have to go into training and things like that, but I think I’m looking for a team situation. I’m in the Houston area and I would consider relocating. I think going to team driving could be a good learning experience for me With the possibility of some mentoring. Anyone interested or with advice, I am open and not very sensitive about things. Thanks so

There was another " trans woman" on here a couple days ago.
ElleE70 Thanks this. -
Have a look at Southwest Freightlines in el paso. Would be my best guess to help you
ElleE70 Thanks this. -
Yeah, I saw her post. And I actually just joined the site today. Don’t know if I’ll get any replies, but if I just get advice, that’ll be great also

Why would you suggest covenant? Just curious. Thank you

Sleeping in a moving truck is hard to impossible for SOME people. Teaming is pretty hard if you are a light sleeper.
snowmantrucking101 and ElleE70 Thank this. -
Here’s a good question, if you are an OTR driver, how much sleep do you get typically each day. And thank you for pointing that out. I really hadn’t considered about the moving part of it and trying to sleep

Entry level teaming with or without partner. Decent pay, etc...ElleE70 Thanks this.

You better heavily consider it. Bouncing truck rolling down the highway with strangers driving....
Can you put your life in someone else's hands and hope for the best?
